Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for;
- Grow revenue within the west region by identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities.
- Conduct product demonstrations, workshops and presentations that clearly communicate product value and drive purchasing decisions.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
We are looking for a dynamic self-starter who can act as an ambassador for the company and its products. By the nature of the business the role involves supporting technical (scientific) and non-technical clients across the western region of the USA.
You will need to be an effective communicator, with a keen eye for detail, with an ability to remain calm under pressure.
Essential Attributes
- Minimum of 8 year’s experience in technical sales, preferably selling scientific, forensic, laboratory or technical equipment.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets in a government-focused sales environment.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills with the ability to sell to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ideas driven and views problems as opportunities for improvement
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willing to travel extensively, nationally and internationally
